Raphanus sativus
Days to Maturity: 50-60
White Daikon radish produces long, crisp roots with a flavor that is mild with just a touch of spice. Delicious fresh in salads and sushi, the roots are also excellent pickled, stir-fried, or simmered into soups. Best planted for fall and winter harvests, this cool-season radish develops deep roots that help break up heavy soils while providing abundant harvests that store well for weeks after picking.
Planting Instructions: In spring & late summer/early fall, plant 6" apart at a depth of 3x the size of the seed.
Seed Saving Instructions: Allow White Daikon plants to bolt and go to seed. Harvest when seed pods are fully brown and dried.
Approximately 100 White Daikon Radish seeds per packet
