An abundant, versatile food source. This kale is a different species (Brassica carinata) than other kales (Brassica oleracea), allowing you to easily save seed without crossing.
Planting Instructions: Plant in early spring or late summer, 1/2" deep, thin to 12" apart. 20 days to baby leaves, 60 days to maturity, full season to seed.
Seed Saving Instructions: Seed pods will be brown and crumbly when seed is fully mature. Store seeds in a paper or mesh bag in a cool, dark and dry location.
