Peacevine Cherry tomato really sets itself apart and has become our favorite cherry. A sweet and tangy, flavor-packed, juicy heirloom. Alan Kapuler of Peace Seeds de-hybridized the "Sweet 100" tomato over many seasons to produce this reliably delicious variety. Sprawling vines enjoy support. You will love Peacevine and cherish the first tomatoes of each season!
Planting Instructions: Start Peacevine Cherry Tomato seeds indoors under grow lights or in a greenhouse 6-10 weeks before last frost. Transplant 2+ weeks after last frost when soil has warmed a bit. Space plants at least 4 feet apart. Support growth with tomato cages, a trellis or wire. Water regularly but avoid overwatering (soil should be moist but not wet).
Seed Saving Instructions: When fully ripe, pick your tastiest fruits from the most vigorous plants. Cut open and squeeze seeds and juice into a jar. Secure a cloth over the jar so air can enter. Ferment the juice and seeds in the jar for 2-3 days. Then strain and rinse the seeds. Dry on a screen or cloth. Store seeds in a paper or mesh bag in a cool, dark and dry location.
