Red Russian Kale is widely known as one of the hardiest kale varieties, able to provide fresh greens throughout the winter, even covered in snow! Unlike other kale varieties, it retains its sweet, tender flavor year-round. Baby leaves are wonderful eaten raw in salads. Sauteé mature leaves or add to soups, quiches, stir-frys and more. Green toothed leaves have striking purple stems. Red Russian Kale has been a resilient staple in our garden for many years!
