Citrullus lanatus
Days to Maturity: 60-70 from transplant
Jeremiah the Bullfrog watermelon is the SHORTEST season watermelon we've ever encountered!! Matures in just 2 months from transplant. A true gem and a very rare variety. Beautiful moon and stars pattern exterior and pink interior; some fruits with yellow interior. The rind is very thin and actually edible! The fruits are long-lasting in the field but once picked do not store long. Fruits are sweet and delicious. Help us proliferate this wonderful variety.
Bred by Gerald Sprouse of Ooltewah, Tennessee in the 1970's. Grown by Groundwork in Paonia, CO. Original seeds obtained from Delectation of Tomatoes.
