Planting Instructions: Start indoors 3 weeks before last frost and transplant after all danger of frost has passed. Or seed outdoors after frost if your growing season is at least 100 days long. Plant 2-3" deep in mounds of well-draining soil. Mounds should be at least 5 feet apart.
Seed Saving Instructions: Select as many of your tastiest, fully mature fruits as possible for seed saving. Cut open squash and lay seeds out to dry on a screen or cloth. You may rinse them in a strainer if needed. Store seeds in a paper or mesh bag in a cool, dark and dry location.
